About
Legal Counsel International is a network of individual lawyers and law firms which have significant experience and a practical approach to international business transactions and cross border commercial ventures. LCI's member lawyers are dedicated to providing creative legal and business solutions with a high degree of personal service to companies, individuals, and law firms worldwide.
Unique Advantages
The LCI network offers clients unique advantages. As a group of independent legal specialists, we are not encumbered by a large and costly organization. We respond personally and directly to individual client needs, either by performing the work and addressing problems locally, or by forming the appropriate international working group through our network. Clients also benefit from our understanding of the PRACTICAL NEEDS of their business as they relate to foreign laws and regulations, red tape and cultural considerations.
How we work
Typically, an LCI member lawyer acts as a principal legal advisor, maintaining direct client contact and accountability for specific client needs. The LCI attorney identifies the particular legal tasks and objectives and sees that all aspects of the work are completed in an effective and efficient manner. The principal attorney maintains this primary relationship, but may, with client approval, associate appropriate members of the network or other local counsel to provide additional services in specific areas or geographic locations.
We value every opportunity to work closely with clients to build successful businesses, structure new ventures, market and distribute products, steer a course of legal compliance, draft necessary agreements or dispatch a difficulty.
